Arda Işık was born in Izmir. Turkey 1976. Graduated from Middle East Technical University (Arch'98) and Iztech (M.Arch'03) Arda Işık started XL Architecture + Engineering in 2004 after working at Ragip Buluc Architecture in Ankara. Through a scale of projects reflecting a philosophy and design strategy on architecture, he was widely know nationwide within unique attitude towards architectural thinking.
Arda Işık has attended several lectures and seminers nationwide rendering his theoretical anxiety and design strategies on architecture. His works were internationally awarded and was archived as city heritage. He is recently giving lectures in Izmir University of Economics and phd candidate Izmir Democracy University.
