TARKEM DesignLab; is a proposal for an invited competetion for a DesignLab project of (TARKEM) Izmir Historic Kemeralti Real Estate Investment Fund in partnership with Izmir Metropol Municipality and The Governor of Izmir.
TARKEM DesignLab is proposed to constitute an Institute of Good Design which will inhabit the urban design teams of both Metropol and District municipalities.
The project also proposes an urban strategy for the development of Historic Kemeraltı Preservation Areas under the concept title of Blank Canvas.
